NAMING
VIV the Label is an Australian clothing brand designed specifically for petite women, founded by Natasha, who was frustrated by the lack of high-quality, well-fitting staples and basics available for shorter frames. Driven by this personal need, Natasha created the label to offer a range of wardrobe essentials crafted from premium fabrics and tailored to fit perfectly.
Glouglou Studio played a pivotal role in bringing VIV the Label to life by crafting its identity from the ground up. We created the name "VIV" inspired by Roman numerals, symbolising the height range of petite women (5'4"), and designed a logo suite that reflects the brand's high-end, functional nature. Our team developed a comprehensive colour palette and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms and materials. We also provided art direction for a variety of marketing materials, including online advertisements, outdoor campaigns, labels, and packaging, reinforcing the brand’s message.
In addition to the visual branding, we created taglines that were both educational and fun, helping women discover their petite fit while reinforcing the brand’s approachable, confident tone of voice. The taglines were designed to raise awareness of what it means to be petite and make VIV the Label a relatable, go-to resource for women who have long struggled to find clothes that suit their needs. We ensured that the tone matched the brand's ethos—uplifting, supportive, and empowering.
Through our collaborative efforts with Olive Louise Social (a fantastic marketing & PR agency), Glouglou Studio helped VIV the Label establish itself as a unique and compelling brand in the Australian fashion landscape. By focusing on quality, fit, and customer education, we supported Natasha’s vision of creating a clothing line that meets the needs of petite women, setting the brand apart from others in the market.
